Messages From Leadership

Kathleen Greer

Founder and Chairman

When I first heard about Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), I immediately recognized my calling. I had always had a passion for helping people and in 1982, that desire drove me to create KGA. Read more...

Today, KGA is a leading New-England based Human Resources services firm best known for its high-touch EAP services. I know how important – and hard – it is for someone to make that first call for help. This understanding led me to create an environment where respect and compassion are a top priority when helping employees. We start with a warm welcome on the first call, listen and empathize at all times, and end with diligent follow-up. Each year, we assist thousands of employees and business leaders with personal and professional issues, serving over 100 of the region’s most prominent organizations. I am grateful to the many loyal clients who have trusted KGA and take pride in knowing that they treat their employees with dignity and respect.

I am also proud to say that KGA is a great place to work, having received multiple awards for being a “workplace of choice” and for “workplace flexibility,” as well as recognition as one of the largest woman-owned businesses in Massachusetts. In 2013, Seth Moeller was named President of KGA. This was an important step to signal to our employees and the marketplace that we are in it for the long haul. KGA is a strong and vital company. The organization continues to thrive and grow under Seth’s direction, and will remain doing so into the future. Employee Assistance Programs are more relevant today than ever, and KGA is poised to play an ongoing role in their impact.

Today, these values are incorporated into everything we do for clients and for each other. What makes KGA so special is our team’s ability to serve more than 100 clients in many diverse industries, each with its unique culture, while remaining clear on our own culture. This is as much a testament to my colleagues’ compassion as it is to their competence. As our business continues to grow, I am committed to preserving our culture of compassion-based service. It’s the best thing for our clients and it makes working here a joy. We are KGA – More Human. More Resources.

Senior Vice President, Clinical Services

Having spent most of my career in the EAP field, I was delighted to have the opportunity to join the leadership team at KGA in 2012. KGA’s reputation as a high quality, high touch EAP is well known and well deserved. Read more...

In my role I provide oversight and support to clinicians and work-life specialists who are all caring, skilled and dedicated professionals. Our case management clinical model reflects what I believe is most important in an EAP– responsiveness, empathy, flexibility and continuity of care. I know how difficult it can be to make a call for help and how important it is that we always respond immediately to an individual or organizational crisis. We always strive to be compassionate and proactive as we search for creative and effective solutions to problems. As a guiding principle, we follow up with all of our callers to assure we have helped them as much as we can. Our staff demonstrates this same commitment to caring in the way we work together and support each other every day. All of these elements differentiate us from other EAPs and make me proud and happy to be a part of KGA.
