Leading Virtual Teams
Managers will analyze the effectiveness of their virtual team, assess their own effectiveness on managing, and identify practical ways to enhance the team’s performance.
Methodology:
Throughout the workshop, a combination of open discussion, interactive presentations, analysis and hands-on experiential techniques are used to help participants assess their needs and assemble a personalized action plan.
Format:
Clients are able to choose between half day and full day workshops, depending on the depth and specialization of their learning goals. These workshops can be customized to accommodate a specific client’s needs and goals.
Topics and issues covered in either the half or full day workshops can include but are not limited to:
- Managing virtual teams
- Analysis of current team
- Domestic vs. global environment
- Remote teams vs. co-located teams
- Levels of interdependence
- Committing to action
- Communicating effectively
A one-hour lunchtime seminar is also available to provide a broad overview on virtual teams. Participants will become aware of the importance of these issues in this educational seminar.
