Managing Multiple Priorities
This interactive workshop enables employees and managers to better manage competing priorities, dynamic schedules, and achieving a greater balance in their personal and professional lives.
Methodology:
Participants engage in a self-assessment tool to identify and eliminate time “robbers” in both individual and smaller groups. Throughout the workshop, a combination of facilitated discussion and hands-on experiential techniques are used to help participants assess their needs and assemble a personalized action plan.
Format:
Clients are able to choose between half day and full day workshops depending on the depth and specialization of their learning goals. These workshops can be customized to accommodate a specific client’s needs and goals.
Topics and issues covered in either the half or full day workshops can include but are not limited to:
- Effectively managing multiple priorities without diminishing quality
- Understanding the “Big Picture”
- Day to day prioritizing and time management
- Identifying and assessing internal responsibilities
- Highlighting group goals and what is important to others
- Building lost time back into one’s work life balance
- Committing to action
- Communicating responsibilities effectively
A one-hour lunchtime seminar is also available to provide a broad overview on time management and managing multiple priorities. Participants will become aware of the importance of these issues in this educational seminar.
